Lucerne DIMITRA

Italian Breeding for Modern Agriculture

The "Dimitra" alfalfa variety, officially registered in Ukraine in 2025, represents a significant advancement in forage production. Developed by Italian breeders, this variety is specifically engineered for intensive use under fluctuating climatic conditions. Unlike traditional varieties, "Dimitra" demonstrates superior adaptability to environmental stress, making it a strategic asset for farms aiming for a consistently high protein yield per hectare.

Key Advantages

• Rapid Regrowth: The variety features a shortened regrowth cycle after each cut, allowing for an increased number of harvests per season.
• Superior Forage Quality: High leaf-to-stem ratio ensures an optimal balance of fiber and protein, which is essential for high-yield dairy farming.
• Advanced Genetics: The 2025 Italian breeding program ensures enhanced resistance to common root and leaf diseases.

"Dimitra" is designed for professional farmers who refuse to compromise between yield and stand longevity. Thanks to a robust root system, the variety efficiently utilizes soil moisture, maintaining productivity even during dry spells. It is an ideal solution for those planning a forage base for the next 4–5 years, with a focus on maximizing the return on every hectare planted.
