ZARECHNAYA

The 'Zarechnaya' honeysuckle is a variety that combines high yield with excellent taste qualities. Large urn-shaped berries with a smooth rim on top have a medium-thickness violet-blue skin, while retaining juicy flesh without bitterness. Thanks to their sweet taste, they are suitable for both fresh consumption and various types of processing – jams, syrups, jellies.

The variety is characterized by early ripening: the berries are ready by mid-June, which allows for planning the harvest at the beginning of the season. Yield can reach 4 kg per bush, and the bushes have a medium growth height and a moderately branched crown, which facilitates care and fruit harvesting.

'Zarechnaya' has high winter hardiness, heat tolerance, and drought resistance. Fruit-bearing plants are weakly affected by sawfly and tortrix, and the berry drop is low, which reduces losses during transportation. These characteristics make the variety popular both among garden producers and in commercial plantations.
