Aquamarine

The Aquamarine Lonicera is a multi-stemmed shrub growing to about 1–1.5 meters in height, with straight, robust canes. The leaves are bright green, heart-shaped, and form a dense foliage that persists until late autumn. In spring, the plant is adorned with delicate white or pink flowers, clustered in racemes that attract bees and promote pollination.

The primary value of the Aquamarine Lonicera lies in its berries: they are nipple-shaped, up to 4 cm long and weighing more than 2 grams, colored in a vivid blue-violet hue. The berries are very sweet, ripen simultaneously in July–August, and do not drop off, which facilitates harvest collection. Due to their high sugar content and appealing taste, the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for making jams, compotes, jellies, and decorating desserts.

The variety is distinguished by high yield and good resistance to frost and diseases, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. The Aquamarine Lonicera is low-maintenance, preferring sunny or semi-shaded areas with fertile soil. To maintain the health and shape of the shrub, regular watering, fertilization with organic fertilizers, and pruning in spring or autumn are recommended.
