RAMENSKAYA

Amur honeysuckle variety "Ramenskaya" is a medium-sized, sprawling tree up to 1.3 m tall with straight, pink shoots covered in greenish hue and a matte surface. Leaves are of medium size, dark green, and flowers are small and yellow. The bush is characterized by moderate branching density, ensuring good light and air permeability.

Fruits of this variety have an elongated shape, average weight of about 0.8 g, thin skin, and juicy flesh. Berries are dark blue with a blue bloom, retaining a bright aroma and sweet taste without bitterness. Ripening period is mid-late, allowing for harvest planning at the end of the season. Yield is approximately 2.1 kg per bush, and berry drop is low.

Variety "Ramenskaya" is distinguished by frost resistance and moderate drought tolerance, while heat tolerance is in the average range. Thanks to the sweet taste and aromatic qualities, berries are suitable for dessert use and can also be used in making jams and compotes.
