KUCHA MALA

KUCHA MALA is a species of honeysuckle, bred by L. P. Kuminov and widely distributed in Russia. The berries of this variety are large, elongated in shape, about 3 cm long, with a characteristic dark blue color and bluish bloom. The skin is thin, and the juicy mass inside reaches approximately 1 g. The taste of the berries is pleasant, refreshingly sweet, making them ideal for dessert use and home processing.

The plant is of medium height (about 1.8 m) with a spreading crown and straight shoots without pubescence. The leaves are bright green with an acute apex. The bush is resistant to shedding and frost, as well as has medium drought resistance and heat tolerance, which allows growing it in various climatic conditions of Russia.
