Lilac «Grand Victory» – a perennial shrub up to 3 meters high and about 2 meters in diameter, featuring spreading branches and dense foliage. The flowers are large, double-flowered, lilac-pink in hue with bluish tints, up to 3 cm long. They are gathered in dense inflorescences consisting of two calyxes: the inner calyx is lighter, almost whitish, while the outer one is more saturated. The petals are slightly curved and elongated, creating an impressive appearance.
The culture blooms in May, imparting a fragrant scent to the garden. The plant shows moderate light-loving tendencies: it prefers bright sun but also tolerates partial shade well. For optimal growth, it requires fertile, moisture-retentive soil with good drainage and high humus content; it does not tolerate waterlogging.
«Grand Victory» is suitable for both single plantings and groupings. Due to its large form and bright color, the plant is often used in parks, gardens, and for landscaping compositions, as well as in floristics thanks to its decorative potential.
