Lilac 'Federico Garcia Lorca' – a tall shrub reaching 240–270 cm in height with a neat oval crown and straight shoots covered with elegant heart-shaped leaves. The foliage is bright green with a matte surface.
Lilac buds have a copper-brown hue and transform into double flowers of large size upon blooming, featuring smooth gradients: from smoky-lilac and blue to pale pink and cream-butter. Blooming starts in May and lasts almost a month; the inflorescences are dense pyramidal racemes that open slowly and not simultaneously, ensuring prolonged and abundant flowering.
The variety was bred by the 'Russian Lilac' breeding group in memory of a famous Spanish cultural figure. It stands out for its vivid polychromy, attractive petal shape, and resistance to weather conditions, making it a popular choice for decorative gardens.
