Three-year-old lilac saplings of the double purple variety reach a height of up to 2 m and are characterized by a compact, pyramidal crown. The shrub has dense, large leaves of dark green color, which create a contrast with the bright inflorescences.
The inflorescences of the double lilac are up to 15 cm wide and up to 18 cm long, purple in buds, changing to shades of purple-lilac when in bloom. Flowers with a diameter of about 2-2.5 cm have a rich aroma. Flowering begins in late May and continues for a fairly long time, providing a profuse view.
The variety is characterized by high frost resistance and unpretentiousness in care: suitable for open ground in sunny or semi-shaded light. Due to the compactness of the bushes, it easily fits into both small courtyards and large garden plots, creating an elegant decorative element.
