Umbrenas — an early Iceberg-type lettuce variety intended for obtaining the earliest produce when grown under cover material. The head of this variety is round, of medium to large size, weighing up to 750 grams, grows quickly and fills well, ensuring high standardization of the produce. The leaves are large, green, weakly puffy, and wavy at the edges, forming a semi-erect rosette about 35 cm high and 30 cm in diameter.

The Umbrenas variety is distinguished by its resistance to bolting, powdery mildew, lettuce mosaic virus, and internal necrosis, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various conditions. It is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover material, allowing harvest in different seasons. The yield of the variety reaches 6.4 kg per square meter, indicating its high productivity.

Planting of Umbrenas lettuce is recommended from late March to mid-May, as well as in August, which allows for early and high-quality harvest. Thanks to dense and standard heads, this variety is excellent for packaging and single-piece sale, which is convenient for marketing in markets and retail networks.
