Lettuce Triplex

Triplex lettuce is a type of crisphead/Frilly lettuce with deeply lobed, voluminous leaves that exhibit a striking color transition from deep ruby-red to green. The leaves are large, with a smooth, wavy-edged texture and deep incisions at the tips, offering a crunchy texture and a delicate sweet flavor. Due to these characteristics, this lettuce is ideal for fresh salad mixes.

Triplex is suitable for cultivation in open fields, polytunnels, and hydroponically, ensuring its year-round usability. The variety is adapted for mechanical harvesting and is oriented toward the fresh market. It shows high resistance to bolting and necrosis, as well as resilience to various diseases, including Bl:16-30,32,33EU/Nr:0 and Fol:1, significantly enhancing its reliability and crop quality.

One of the key advantages of Triplex is its excellent keeping quality, allowing the leaves to retain freshness and appealing appearance for an extended period after harvest. Production of this variety takes place in the Netherlands, guaranteeing high-quality standards and compliance with modern agronomic requirements.
