Lettuce Saturdai

Saturdai lettuce is a red, leafy, heady variety with large, dense heads reaching up to 500 grams. The leaves are deep red, glossy, and firm, giving the lettuce an attractive appearance and high market value. This variety grows quickly and retains its vibrant color even under low light conditions, making it versatile for various growing environments.

Saturdai lettuce is suitable for year-round cultivation and can be grown in open fields, heated polytunnels, and hydroponic systems. It is resistant to major diseases such as necrosis and bolting, and is virtually immune to false powdery mildew and green leaf aphids. These qualities make this variety highly reliable and consistent in yield.

This variety is widely used for fresh consumption, processing, and often included in salad mixes, where its rich red color contrasts beautifully with other varieties. Additionally, Saturdai has a high vitamin potential, making it both nutritious and beneficial. The lettuce seeds are supplied by Rijk Zwaan from the Netherlands in packs of 1000 and 5000 seeds.
