Lettuce Dublyansky

Breeding excellence from the Lviv National Agrarian University

The 'Dublyanskyi' lettuce variety is a product of long-term development by scientists at the Lviv National Agrarian University. Designed specifically to thrive in the variable Ukrainian climate, this leaf lettuce variety was developed to meet the needs of both commercial farmers and private growers who require consistent early-season yields with minimal maintenance.

The primary value of this variety lies in its biological plasticity. As an early-maturing crop, 'Dublyanskyi' allows for highly efficient use of greenhouse and open-field space at the very start of the agricultural season. Its rosette of leaves develops rapidly, enabling producers to bring fresh produce to market exactly when demand for early greens hits its peak.

Agronomic features and usage

• Crop Type: Leaf lettuce, suitable for intensive cultivation practices.
• Maturity: Early ripening times allow for effective planning of succession planting and continuous harvesting.
• Reputation: The LNAU breeding program focuses on regional adaptability, making the variety highly predictable throughout the production cycle.

In modern farming, 'Dublyanskyi' is frequently chosen for its resilience and ability to maintain a high-quality appearance even during periods of fluctuating temperatures. The leaves offer a well-balanced flavor profile and a firm structure, which are crucial for retail distribution and the HoReCa segment. Thanks to the expertise of the Lviv National Agrarian University, this variety remains a reliable choice for those who prioritize local breeding efforts and proven agronomic performance.
