Lettuce DUBRAVA

Reliable Yields with Minimal Hassle

The "Dubrava" lettuce from the Gavrish breeding firm has long been a staple for those who value predictable results. It is undemanding in cultivation, which is critical for large-scale operations.

Agronomy and Protection

The main strength of this variety is its immunity. If your field has a history of soil-borne infections, "Dubrava" is your best bet. The variety reliably resists root rot and black leg, allowing you to reduce the number of fungicide applications. For the grower, this means not only saving on inputs but also producing a cleaner, more marketable product.

Key Features and Yield

• Type: Oak Leaf.
• Maturity: Mid-season.
• Appearance: Beautiful, voluminous, light green rosette.
• Mass: Produces large, marketable heads that look excellent on retail shelves.

Growing this variety does not require any specialized or complex techniques. The rosette forms a dense, upright structure, which simplifies maintenance of the root zone and makes harvesting much easier. The leaves have a pleasant texture and a classic taste, and they are not prone to premature bitterness if standard watering schedules are maintained. When planting, we recommend paying attention to spacing — "Dubrava" needs room to reach its full potential and mass.

For commercial vegetable farming, this is a winning solution: the variety is stable, recognizable to consumers, and resistant to major diseases that often eat away at the profits of less robust hybrids.
