Lettuce Alabama

The Alabama lettuce variety is an early-heading type distinguished by its high nutritional value and rich vitamin content, making it an excellent choice for health-conscious eaters. The plant forms a dense head with elastic and crisp leaves of a deep green color, featuring slight ribbing. The core of this variety is short, contributing to the head's compactness.

The leaves of the Alabama lettuce are upright and dense, forming a rosette approximately 20 cm in height and 30 cm in diameter. The average head weight reaches 800 grams, with a yield of about 4.2 kg per square meter. The variety is resistant to Bremia and BL1-28/Nr0 diseases, ensuring reliable cultivation and high-quality produce.

Alabama is suitable for growing in personal subsidiary holdings and can be used fresh for preparing salads and other dishes. Thanks to its characteristics, such as early maturity, density, and crisp leaf texture, this variety is popular among gardeners and health enthusiasts.
