Description Cupidon
Cupidon is a mid-season variety of lettuce with a harvestable maturity period of 50-55 days after sowing. The variety is distinguished by the interesting shape of its pointed narrow leaves and a large, raised rosette. The leaves have a smooth green edge, and the mass of one plant reaches 350-450 grams, making this lettuce convenient for use in various culinary purposes.

The variety is resistant to marginal burnout and has a long period before the onset of bolting, which allows the leaves to maintain their market appearance and freshness for longer. Cupidon is recommended for cultivation both in open ground and in film greenhouses. The optimal time for sowing seeds directly into the ground is April-May, while for seedlings it is March-April, followed by transplanting in May. The recommended planting scheme is 25x30 cm, which promotes the formation of a powerful rosette.

For successful cultivation of Cupidon lettuce, regular and moderate watering is required, avoiding both waterlogging and soil drying out. Due to its characteristics and taste qualities, this variety is perfect for preparing both everyday and festive salads, ensuring freshness and an attractive appearance for finished dishes.
