Cabbage MOSCOW SOUVENIR

Stability and Performance in the Field

Working with the 'Moskovskiy Suvenir' variety highlights the advantages of selection tailored specifically for industrial processing. It is not a finicky crop; the variety demonstrates high adaptability, which is crucial for production planning. Throughout the growth cycle, the plant behaves predictably, forming neat, uniform heads weighing between 3 and 4 kg. The round and flat-round head shape simplifies logistics, allowing for efficient packing and minimal damage during transit.

Operational Efficiency and Processing

The primary focus of this variety is processing, and 'Moskovskiy Suvenir' excels here. The dense leaf structure makes it an ideal choice for pickling and fermenting. Operators note the consistent head density, which is critical for smooth performance on shredding lines—resulting in less waste and a higher net product yield. During harvesting, the head detaches easily from the stalk, and the outer leaves provide robust protection against mechanical damage in the field. Low maintenance requirements for standard cultivation practices help keep operational overheads low.

• Marketable weight: 3.0–4.0 kg, hitting the "sweet spot" for processing facilities.
• Crop uniformity: allows for automated processing lines to be set for a consistent size profile.
• Reliability: developed by the FGBNU Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing, ensuring adherence to stated characteristics and resilience.

If your goal is to secure a predictable volume of high-quality raw material for fermentation, 'Moskovskiy Suvenir' delivers with minimal agronomic risk.
