Naxos

NAXOS is a mid-season broccoli hybrid developed by Japanese breeders from Sakata, intended for summer and early-autumn harvest. The vegetative period is 75-80 days from seedling planting. The plant is powerful with a well-developed root system, requiring high nitrogen nutrition, which ensures its active growth and formation of high-quality fruits. The hybrid is not recommended for early seedling planting to avoid adaptation problems.

NAXOS fruits are distinguished by their attractive appearance: compact cup-shaped green inflorescences with high-quality buds. The average head weight ranges from 400 to 1200 grams, making this variety especially attractive to consumers. The plant does not form side shoots, which simplifies care and promotes the formation of dense and quality inflorescences.

The NAXOS hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to hot growing conditions and withstands cool temperatures well, making it universal for various climatic conditions. It is suitable for growing in open ground, as well as in greenhouses or under covering material. Thanks to its excellent taste and good appearance, NAXOS broccoli is ideal for fresh consumption and also retains its properties when cooked and frozen.
