Vanja Curly is a mid-early variety of cress, characterized by high cold hardiness and rapid growth: from germination to commercial readiness, it takes only 20–30 days.
The plants reach a height of 45–50 cm, and the medium-sized leaves (10–12 cm) have a large rosette. The mass of one plant is 20–25 g. The leaf tissue is tender and juicy, while retaining the characteristic mustard flavor, making it an excellent addition to salads, sandwiches, and as an aromatic seasoning for meat and fish dishes.
The yield is 1.8–2.2 kg per square meter. Due to its compactness and resistance to low temperatures, Vanja Curly is ideal for year-round cultivation in closed ground, as well as as a pot culture on a windowsill.
