Cress VITAMINCHIK

A Green Conveyor on Your Windowsill: 'Vitaminchik' Garden Cress

In the rhythm of modern life, where fresh greens are needed daily, the 'Vitaminchik' variety from the Gavrish breeding company has become a standard for functional gardening. Developed under the guidance of Sergey Fyodorovich Gavrish, this garden cress variety is engineered to provide maximum produce in the shortest possible time.

The main characteristic of 'Vitaminchik' is its phenomenal vegetative speed. The period from sowing to harvest takes just 7–14 days. This growth dynamic makes it an essential solution for a "green conveyor" that can be organized both in a backyard garden and on a windowsill in an urban apartment.

Cultivation and Taste Profile

'Vitaminchik' is a classic annual that does not require deep soil. Its root system is shallow, making it perfect for containers, trays, or hydroponic systems. The key requirement for the crop is consistent moisture: due to its rapid metabolism, the plant reacts sharply to substrate drying. Steady watering is a guarantee that the greens will not develop a bitter taste and will maintain their signature mild, spicy flavor.

• Fast start: the harvest is ready in just one week.
• Versatility: from decorating festive sandwiches to vitamin-rich additions for soups.
• Compactness: ideal for growing in limited space.

The reputation of the Gavrish brand in the green crop selection segment is backed by decades of expertise. The 'Vitaminchik' variety is the logical embodiment of their breeding philosophy: maximum benefit with minimal time investment from the gardener.
