Sluch

The potato variety Sluch is a medium-early table variety developed by Ukrainian breeders. The vegetation period is approximately 70 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The plants are medium-high and upright, and the tubers have an elongated-oval shape with a delicate pink skin and shallow eyes. The flesh varies from cream to light-yellow, giving the potato an attractive appearance and pleasant taste.

The Sluch variety is characterized by high yield, reaching 45-50 tons per hectare under proper agronomic conditions. It has a high starch content — from 17 to 19.5% — making it versatile for various culinary purposes. Additionally, this potato exhibits good storability, ensuring long-term storage without quality loss.

One of the key advantages of this variety is its resistance to a wide range of diseases, including late blight, ring rot, wet bacterial rot, dry fusarium rot, rust spot, and flesh browning.
