Magaracha Gift is a medium-early grape variety with a ripening period in the first half of September, characterized by high regenerative ability and comprehensive resistance. The plant has medium-sized, rounded, five-lobed leaves with a reticulate-crenate surface and a glossy hue. The clusters are of medium size, have a cylinder-conical shape, and weigh about 160 grams; the berries are round, white in color, and acquire a pinkish hue upon over-ripening. The skin is thin and elastic, the flesh is slightly mucilaginous, the taste is pleasant, without a pronounced varietal aroma. The flower is hermaphroditic, which contributes to good pollination and stable yields, reaching 120-140 centners per hectare with traditional agronomy. The vine is of medium height, ripens well, withstands frosts up to -25°C, making it resistant to unfavorable climatic conditions. The load on the bush is 45-50 canes, with pruning to 3-4 buds. The variety is distinguished by good transportability, which facilitates its use in commercial production. Thanks to its characteristics, Magaracha Gift is widely used for the production of ecologically clean dietary juices, white table and dessert wines, as well as high-quality fortified wines and brandy base materials. During winemaking in a dry variant, this variety resembles the autochthonous Georgian variety Saperavi, but possesses unique features that allow the creation of original wine products. The variety was bred by breeder Golodryga P. Ya. and is intended for those who value the combination of resistance, quality, and versatility in viticulture and winemaking.
