Selection heritage from the Grishko National Botanical Garden

"Kyivskyi Zolotyisyi" (Kyiv Golden) is a notable achievement of the Ukrainian breeding school, developed at the M.M. Grishko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. The variety was specifically engineered to combine the early ripening traits of seedless table grapes with the resilience required for temperate continental climates.

Growth characteristics and resilience

This variety is characterized by vigorous growth, requiring careful vine management and timely pruning to ensure optimal fruit development. One of its standout features is a cold resistance of up to -24°C, making it a reliable performer in regions prone to harsh winters. Its resistance profile is highly favorable: the vine shows a strong resistance to downy mildew (mildew) and oidium, significantly reducing the need for intensive fungicide applications, although moderate care is advised to prevent gray rot in high-humidity conditions.

Usage and sensory appeal

As a versatile, seedless table grape with a distinct Muscat flavor profile, this variety is highly sought after for both fresh consumption and culinary applications. Key technical parameters include:
