KOSTRIKINA MEMORY

Kostrikina Memory is a table grape variety bred in Russia and named after the outstanding viticulturist Ivan Aleksandrovich Kostrikina, who made a significant contribution to grape breeding. This variety is distinguished by high resistance to fungal diseases and frosts, making it particularly valuable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Kostrikina Memory has good winter hardiness and complex resistance, which ensures a stable yield and reduces the need for intensive plant protection.

The berries of the variety are green-yellow in color, oval in shape, and have a dense fleshy pulp. They are characterized by a harmonious and pleasant taste with a high sugar content reaching 18 Brix and moderate acidity of about 6.5 g/dm³. The clusters are large, cylinder-conical in shape, and of medium density, which promotes good ripening and preservation of the fruit. Despite the high quality of the berries, the variety has some low transportability, which should be taken into account when organizing harvest and sales.

The bushes of Kostrikina Memory are characterized by great growth vigor and good rooting of cuttings. The flower is bisexual, which ensures stable fruiting with a coefficient of 1.0-1.2 and a load of shoots of 30-40 per bush. The variety is well suited for grafted culture and demonstrates frost hardiness down to -25 °C.
