ATLANT DONA is a white technical grape variety intended for the production of dry and sparkling wines, as well as juice. This variety belongs to mid-late or late ripening, reaching maturity at the end of September. The bushes are vigorous, with medium-sized leaves and weak lobation. The clusters are cylindrical-conical, large, with an average weight of about 500-570 g, and medium density. The berries are round or wide-elliptical, white, juicy, with a fleshy-juicy pulp structure and edible skin. The average berry weight is approximately 2.3-2.4 g, the juice is colorless, with high sugar content - up to 20.4 g/100 cm³, and titratable acidity of about 7.8-9.1 g/dm³. The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -26…-27°С. Disease resistance is average: susceptibility to mildew, powdery mildew, and grey rot is rated within 2.5-3.5 points. The flower is of the functionally female type, pollinated satisfactorily. With proper care and the application of gibberellin, it is possible to increase the marketability of clusters and berries, which contributes to increased yield and improved fruit quality. ATLANT DONA is widely used in winemaking for the production of high-quality dry and sparkling wines, which receive high tasting ratings - up to 9.0 points. The average yield of the variety reaches 171 centners per hectare, which makes it attractive for commercial cultivation. Due to its characteristics and resistance, the variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, providing a stable and quality harvest.
