Description ALBURLA
Alburla is a Crimean variety of grape belonging to the ecogeographic group of eastern table varieties. It ripens in the third decade of September, allowing for its use in late harvest collections. The leaves of this variety are of medium size, rounded, and rather deeply lobed, with three to five lobes. The underside of the leaf is not hairy, and the surface of the leaf blade is weakly reticulate-wrinkled and almost smooth. The petiolar sinus is closed, with an elliptical or ovoid opening and an acute bottom, sometimes with an irregular shape of the opening. The flowers are bisexual, which contributes to good pollination and fruit setting. Clusters of Alburla are large, conical or cylindro-conical in shape, of medium density, sometimes dense. The berries are large, rounded, and pink in color; at full maturity, they acquire a lilac-dark red hue and are covered with a weak waxy bloom. The pulp is juicy with a characteristic peculiar taste and a light muscat aroma. The berry skin is thick but not strong. The vigor of bushes is high, which ensures good development and maturation of shoots. The yield of the variety is high, making it attractive for cultivation. Alburla has medium resistance to downy mildew and grape tortrix, but weak resistance to powdery mildew, which requires attention to plant protection. The sugar content of the berry juice is 21-23 g per 100 cm3, and acidity is 4.5-5 g per dm3, making this variety suitable not only for fresh consumption but also for the production of high-quality wine materials and juice. Thanks to its taste qualities and characteristics, the Alburla grape is widely used in local consumption and is valued for its combination of juiciness, aroma, and yield.
