Plants reach a height of about 70-100 cm, forming sturdy bushes, which ensures ease of cultivation and harvest collection. The variety was developed by the Belgian company Storm Seeds and is popular both in Western Europe and in Russia, especially in the Krasnodar Krai and Kabardino-Balkaria, due to its reliability and stable yield.
Overture is suitable for cultivation in conditions of a short day length and moderate temperatures, with an optimal temperature regime for germination and growth of 18-25°C. Seeds are recommended to be soaked before sowing, which is carried out in open ground from April to May, maintaining distances between rows of 15-20 cm and between seeds of 5-8 cm at a sowing depth of 2-3 cm. To protect from birds, crops can be covered with light-transparent film. An important condition for successful cultivation is regular watering, soil loosening and weeding, as well as installing supports to support the plants. The harvest ripens from June to August, and it is recommended to collect it every 3-4 days, preferably in the morning, to avoid over-ripening.
