LG Aspen pea is a high-yielding variety of green-seeded pea, suitable for cultivation in various regions, including the Forest Steppe, Polесье, Northern Steppe, Central Chernozem, and North Caucasus regions. This medium-maturing variety has a vegetation period of 63 to 77 days and is characterized by strong initial growth, promoting the formation of robust and healthy plants. Plant height ranges from 55 to 95 cm, with an upright growth habit, facilitating ease of care and harvest.

LG Aspen exhibits high resistance to lodging and shattering, significantly reducing losses during harvest. The variety shows high drought tolerance and resistance to root diseases, powdery mildew, and viral diseases, with resistance ratings of 7 out of 9. Seeds have a uniform green color (99% uniformity), round shape, and an average 1000-seed weight of 203 to 267 grams. Protein content in the seeds ranges from 23 to 25%, making this variety attractive for use in the food industry and feed production.

The maximum yield of LG Aspen, achieved in 2019 in the Oryol region, reached 46 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity.
