The use of herbicides in combination with quality planting material ensures reliable crop protection and contributes to obtaining a healthy and large harvest. Additionally, natural methods can be applied to combat fungal diseases and stimulate garlic growth, such as the use of sulfur-containing materials, for example, ordinary matches. This accessible technology includes soil preparation, clove treatment with potassium permanganate, and planting matches into holes, which strengthens plants and increases their disease resistance.
