Alcor

The Acor garlic variety is a mid-season annual cultivar with a maturation period of 87 to 98 days. The plant's leaves are dark green with a bluish-grey tint and a waxy coating; the shoots reach a length of 66 to 102 cm. The bulbs are round, dense, weighing from 13 to 40 grams, with a pink-purple hue on the covering scales. The number of cloves per bulb varies from 4 to 10, giving the variety an attractive appearance and making it in demand among gardeners.

The Acor variety is distinguished by stable yields, reaching 0.3–0.4 kg per square meter, and good adaptation to various soil types, allowing it to be grown on diverse plots. It is especially suitable for autumn planting in open ground from mid-October to early November. Among the variety's advantages are excellent storage life and a rich flavor, making it convenient for storage and culinary use.

To obtain a high-quality harvest, proper care is essential: after harvesting, the garlic must be thoroughly dried, the foliage and roots trimmed, and then stored in ventilated boxes for 2-3 weeks. The variety is susceptible to yellow dwarf virus, so it is recommended to monitor plant condition and adhere to agricultural measures to prevent diseases.
