Description ORANGE PEARL
Physalis «Orange Pearl» is a variety of physalis distinguished by its bright orange fruits and medium plant height. The fruits are round, weigh 7–8 grams, are green when unripe and turn yellow upon full maturity. The fruit flesh is yellow, dense but not sticky, making it convenient for fresh consumption and preparing various canned products.

The fruit ripening period is 105–110 days after full germination, so with proper care, a stable harvest can be expected. The yield reaches 2.0–2.5 kg/m², and the plant shows good endurance to unfavorable growing conditions. The stem has weak anthocyanin coloring, and the leaves are strongly toothed and dark green.

Physalis «Orange Pearl» is suitable for various uses: fresh product, raisins, candied fruits, and whole fruit canning. Due to its structure, the fruits easily retain their shape during processing, while the gelatinizing properties of the flesh allow making sauces and marmalade. The plant is upright and of medium height, which facilitates its cultivation in a garden or orchard.
