Cotton VOSTORG

A Versatile Solution for Southern Agriculture

The «Vostorg» cotton variety, developed by the breeders at SKFNAC, represents an adaptive approach to industrial crop cultivation. The core value of this variety lies in its balanced characteristics, allowing farmers to obtain stable results in both fiber quality and oil yield, rather than choosing between the two.

Technological Potential

Unlike highly specialized varieties, «Vostorg» demonstrates high efficiency in combined applications. This makes it an optimal choice for farms focused on production diversification. Key advantages include:

• Textile Utility: The fiber quality meets market demands for the production of durable and high-quality fabrics.
• Oil Content: The seeds are noted for their high oil content, providing additional revenue streams from by-product processing.
• Adaptability: The variety is well-suited to the climatic conditions of regions where cotton is traditionally grown, reducing risks associated with temperature fluctuations during the growing season.

Who is this variety for?

The «Vostorg» variety from SKFNAC is a strategic solution for enterprises focused on deep processing. Its versatility helps minimize logistics costs, as both oil extraction and textile fiber production can be integrated into a single operational cycle. While intensive hybrids may offer higher peak performance under perfect conditions, «Vostorg» excels through its consistency and predictability—factors critical for the effective planning and utilization of processing facilities.
