Description CONFECTIONER
Confectioner is a mid-season variety of physalis, characterized by a moderate plant height of 60 to 80 cm and a compact bush form. The growth period is approximately 100–110 days from sowing until the fruits reach full maturity.

Confectioner fruits have a flat-round shape, a light green color at the beginning of ripening, and turn golden-yellow when fully ripe. The berry mass varies from 20 to 80 grams, but most often they fall within the 40–60 gram range. The taste combines a slight sourness with mild sweetness, making them ideal for use in salads, vegetable stews, as well as when making jellies, jams, and marmalade.

The variety is distinguished by good resistance to cold and drought, so it can be grown on fertile soil with a guaranteed high yield. Confectioner contains no GMOs and is recommended to avoid pruning or pinching of plants to preserve their natural shape and fruit quality.
