Galepka vegetable beans represent a mid-season bush variety developed by Agro-Best LLC. Plants reach a height of 50-55 cm, have light green leaves and white medium-sized flowers. Pods are located mainly in the upper part of the bush, attaching at a height of 18-19 cm from the base. They are light yellow or light cream in color, smooth, flat with an acute or blunt tip and a medium-length beak, 12-14 cm long and 1.0-1.2 cm wide. Pods lack a parchment layer and fibers, making them particularly convenient for culinary use.
The Galepka variety is distinguished by good taste qualities, which are rated as good and excellent. Bean seeds have a kidney shape, white color with slight venation, with a mass of 1000 seeds of about 280 g. Marketable yield of pods reaches 1.9 kg per square meter, which makes this variety attractive for cultivation in garden plots and personal subsidiary holdings.
Galepka has resistance to diseases such as anthracnose, common bean mosaic virus, and bacterial blight, which ensures crop stability and reduces the need for intensive plant protection. The variety is recommended for use in cooking, and is also suitable for freezing, which allows to preserve its taste and nutritional qualities for a long time.
