Description Nota
The Nota snap bean is a bush-type medium-early variety with a plant height of 35-40 cm. This variety is characterized by compact bush size and synchronous fruiting, ensuring a high marketable yield of 3.3-3.4 kg per square meter. The maturity period is 56-59 days from full emergence to technical maturity, allowing the use of the bean in various climatic conditions, excluding cold zones.

The beans of the Nota variety have a light green color at full maturity, a length of 12-15 cm, and a diameter of about 0.8 cm. They are slightly curved and lack a developed parchment layer, making them particularly convenient for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and freezing. From one plant, 18 to 25 pods form, contributing to high yield and stable fruiting.

Sowing the Nota bean is recommended in open ground or balcony boxes at the end of May – beginning of June at a depth of 3-5 cm. The optimal planting scheme varies from 15x15 cm to 50x10 cm, which allows effective use of the area for growing. The variety is resistant to diseases, which facilitates care and improves crop quality, making the Nota bean an excellent choice for home cooking and preserves.
