CREOLKA is a mid-season bean variety intended for growing in home gardens and vegetable plots. The plant is bush-type, reaching a height of 45-50 cm, with pods of straight or slightly curved shape and heart-shaped cross-section. The pods are light green, 12-13 cm long and 0.7-0.8 cm wide, with a blunt tip. In technical maturity, young pods lack a parchment layer and fibers, ensuring a pleasant taste and ease of preparation. Seeds are round or elliptical, grey in color with slight venation.
The variety is distinguished by high yield—up to 1-1.2 kg per square meter, as well as resistance to adverse weather conditions and diseases such as anthracnose and bacterial infection. Thanks to these qualities, CREOLKA ensures a stable and high-quality harvest. Beans prefer non-acidic, well-warmed, and moisture-holding soils. Sowing is recommended in spring, at the end of May to early June, at a depth of about 3 cm with a row spacing of 50 cm and a distance between plants of 10 cm. Care includes soil loosening, regular watering, and fertilizing with mineral fertilizers.
CREOLKA is versatile in use: young pods and grains are suitable for consumption fresh, canning, and freezing. Excellent taste qualities make this variety ideal for home cooking and preparing various dishes. Bean seeds are also used for planting in both open ground and greenhouses, expanding the cultivation possibilities of this variety.
