PAGODA is a mid-early bush bean variety of the asparagus type, characterized by a compact plant with a height of about 50 cm. The pods of this variety are long, 16-17 cm, slightly curved and round in cross-section, and of an intense green color. They are fleshy, narrow, without a parchment layer and fibers, which ensures a pleasant texture and high taste qualities of the product. The pods are located mainly in the upper part of the plant, which facilitates mechanized harvesting.
The PAGODA variety is distinguished by high yield: pods give from 13.5 to 17 tons per hectare with a marketability of more than 83-85%. Seeds are of elliptical shape, white in color, with a mass of 1000 seeds from 250 to 300 grams, seed yield is 2.0-3.0 tons per hectare. Thanks to its characteristics, beans are recommended for canning and freezing, and is also an excellent highly nutritious and low-calorie product for home cooking.
