Agronomic Profile and Yield Potential

‘Kostiantyn’ demonstrates exceptional adaptability to arid conditions, making it an ideal choice for the southern and central agricultural regions of Ukraine. The variety is designed for multi-purpose use, effectively combining the roles of a forage base and a biological soil amendment.

• Forage Quality: The stable yield of green mass ranges from 30 to 45 tons per hectare. Sainfoin is rich in protein, and its lack of tendency to cause bloat in ruminants makes it a safer dietary component compared to alfalfa.
• Honey Production: High nectar concentration makes this variety highly valued in apiculture, supporting the production of high-quality early-season honey.
