EGG-SHAPE

The 'Egg-Shaped' eggplant variety is a medium-maturing decorative variety intended for growing in open ground, under film coverings, as well as in pots and balcony boxes. The plant is compact, reaching a height of about 30-45 cm, moderately foliated, and easily forms. It is characterized by high yield and ease of care, responding well to fertilization and regular soil moisture. In warm weather, the eggplant grows excellently on suburban plots, including in planters, making it universal for various growing conditions.

The fruits of the 'Egg-Shaped' eggplant have an egg-shaped shape and differ in a variety of colors depending on the stage of ripening: from white and glossy to light green, followed by a transition to a golden-yellow shade. Fruit size varies from 3-5 cm in length and 2-3 cm in diameter to a mass of 30-35 g, and specimens with a mass of up to 200 g are also found. The pulp is white, very tender, without bitterness, with a pleasant taste and a small amount of seeds. The fruits retain an attractive appearance on the bush for a long time, making them not only tasty but also decorative.

The variety is valued for the absence of thorns on the calyx, uniformity of fruits, and high taste qualities. It is recommended for table setting, use in home cooking, whole-fruit canning, and preparation of various dishes, including sauces, such as curry.
