Eggplant RED DECOR

Garden Aesthetics: The Unique 'Krasny Decor' Eggplant

A non-traditional representative of the Solanaceae family, the 'Krasny Decor' variety by NVP Agrovnedra challenges the status quo of the classic purple eggplant. Developed for those who prioritize both high yields and aesthetic appeal, this hybrid brings a fresh look to any vegetable garden.

Visual Profile and Agronomy

The key feature of this hybrid is its unusual pear-shaped appearance and creamy white skin. With a length ranging from 6 to 11 cm, these fruits fall into the "portion-sized" vegetable category. Their compact size makes them perfect for stuffing, roasting whole, or pickling—in jars, these white pears look like decorative elements, truly living up to their name.

Why choose this variety?

• Compactness: The small fruit size allows for harvesting at the technical maturity stage when the skin is tender and requires minimal cooking time.
• Decorative Appeal: The snow-white fruits stand out beautifully against the standard dark-skinned varieties, adding variety to your garden plots.
• Culinary Versatility: The flesh of these eggplants lacks the bitterness often found in larger, over-matured fruits, making them much easier to prepare for sophisticated dishes.

Who is it for?

'Krasny Decor' is an excellent choice for hobbyist gardeners practicing aesthetic horticulture and for small-scale farmers catering to gourmet or niche produce markets. Thanks to the development work by the experts at NPP 'Agrovnedreniye' and Astrakhan State University, this hybrid offers stable growth characteristics. It is important to note that this eggplant requires consistent watering and adequate sunlight; to maintain its pristine white color and shape, it is best not to leave the fruits on the vine for too long once they reach their desired maturity.
