Cabton / Kebton

Cabton F1 cabbage is a late hybrid of white-heading cabbage developed by breeders of the Dutch company Bejo Zaden. This variety is characterized by strong growth and a powerful root system, providing good drought resistance and allowing cultivation throughout Ukraine. The vegetation period is approximately 120 days, making Cabton F1 suitable for planting in April and harvesting in the autumn. The optimal planting density is 35-40 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to a high and stable yield.

The heads of Cabton F1 cabbage have a round shape and dense structure without cavities or additional inclusions. The heads weigh from 3 to 7 kilograms, with white inner leaves and thin leaves on a small head core, and dark green outer leaves. Due to the density and weight of the heads, the variety withstands transportation well and is suitable for short-term storage up to 6 months. The cabbage is ideal for culinary processing, including pickling, making it a versatile product for winter and autumn periods.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its high resistance to infectious diseases, particularly Fusarium wilt, as well as weak response to stressful growing conditions. This ensures stable plant development and high productivity. Cabton F1 has good taste qualities, making it popular both for home use and commercial production. This combination of characteristics makes Cabton F1 a reliable choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain a high-quality and productive crop.
