Currant SOBOLINKA

The 'Sobolinka' currant variety is a vigorous bush with a wide canopy, reaching a height of about 1.6 meters and a diameter of up to 2.3 meters. This variety is distinguished by large, round, shiny black berries with an average weight of 1.9 grams and a maximum weight of up to 5.5 grams. The berries have a refreshing sweet-sour taste with a rating of 4.8 points, making them universal for fresh consumption, as well as for making jams, compotes, and desserts. Ripening occurs early, and the yield is about 3.2 kilograms per bush on average; with proper care, yields of up to 4-5 kilograms are possible.

The 'Sobolinka' variety is characterized by high resistance to a number of diseases and pests, including bud mites, gall aphids, powdery mildew, currant leaf spot, and rust, which significantly simplifies plant care. The variety's self-fertility reaches about 30%, which contributes to stable fruiting. Due to its unpretentiousness and resistance, this variety is suitable for both experienced gardeners and beginners.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to choose sunny areas with well-prepared soil and ensure regular watering. Care for the bushes is simple and effective, allowing for bountiful harvests without significant time and effort expenditure. 'Sobolinka' will be an excellent choice for those who value delicious and healthy berries, as well as wish to decorate their garden with beautiful and fruit-bearing shrubs.
