Currant CHERNOOKAY

The 'Chernookay' blackcurrant variety is a highly productive and low-maintenance bush with powerful shoots and medium-height spreading bushes. The berries of this variety are large, round, glossy, deep black with thick-medium skin. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew, anthracnose, and columnar rust, and also possesses good drought and heat tolerance. Yield reaches 3-5 kg per bush, which equates to about 93 centners per hectare. The berries contain about 9.9% sugars, 3.0% acids, and a significant amount of vitamin C — 150 mg%, making them not only tasty but also healthy.
