SHIRAZ

Shiraz — an early parthenocarpic hybrid cucumber that begins fruiting 42-44 days after emergence. This variety is suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and in open ground under temporary film coverings, making it versatile and convenient for various climatic conditions. Plants are vigorous, medium-branched, with female flower type, which contributes to high yield.

Shiraz cucumbers are cylindrical, 18-20 cm long and 3.5-4.0 cm in diameter, with smooth dark green skin. Fruits weigh 190-210 grams, are succulent and sweet in taste, and their thin skin makes them especially appealing for fresh consumption, such as in salads. Up to 6 fruits form in leaf axils, ensuring stable and abundant fruiting.

The hybrid has comprehensive resistance to major cucumber diseases, reducing the need for frequent protective treatments and increasing harvest reliability. Yield per plant ranges from 7 to 9 kg, making Shiraz a profitable choice for both hobby and commercial cultivation.
