Description SHISHKIN
Hybrid parthenocarpic cucumber variety SHISHKIN is intended for cultivation in open ground and spring greenhouses. This early-maturing variety begins fruiting as early as the 45th day after germination. Plants are strong-growing with female-type flowering, which contributes to high fruit set. The hybrid adapts well to adverse weather conditions of open ground, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones.

The fruits of cucumber SHISHKIN are large, ribbed, white-fleshed, weighing 85-90 grams, without bitterness. With sufficient feeding, up to 5-6 fruit buds form at each node, ensuring high yield. The fruits are versatile: suitable for fresh consumption as well as for canning, expanding the culinary applications of this variety.

The hybrid is resistant to true powdery mildew and cladosporeiosis, and tolerant to downy mildew, reducing the need for frequent use of protective agents. Yield under plastic cover reaches 12-13 kg per square meter, with an early harvest of 2-3 kg, allowing production to begin in the first fruiting period.
