Cucumber Mimino F1

Working with Mimino F1

Working with the 'Mimino F1' hybrid from 'Agrosvit' gives a sense of reliability. This is a classic parthenocarpic cucumber with a vegetative growth habit. It is robust, building up foliage quickly, which requires timely pruning to keep the plant balanced and focused on fruit production. For a greenhouse operator, this means predictable management and zero need for manual pollination.

Disease Resistance and Field Performance

One of the biggest advantages of Mimino F1 is its genetic resistance. It stands strong against Downy Mildew (Peronospora) and Powdery Mildew, significantly reducing the need for intensive chemical treatment. Whether you are operating in a glass greenhouse or open field, this hybrid maintains its vigor when others start to succumb to pressure. The maturity period is fast, with harvesting starting at 40–45 days.

Harvest Quality and Logistics

• Appearance: Dark green color with distinctive heavy warts.
• Fruit Size: Uniform 10–12 cm.
• Durability: The fruits are firm, hold their crunch, and survive transport exceptionally well.

For those managing harvest cycles, these cucumbers don't lose their marketability even if picking is delayed by a day or two. It’s a low-maintenance, high-yield variety that delivers excellent consistency in output, keeping operations running smoothly from early harvest through the end of the season.
