Monsieur Olivier

Monsieur Olivier is an early parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid that does not require pollination and begins fruiting 40 days after germination. The plant is indeterminate and characterized by high yield, with at least two fruits forming at each node. The fruits of this variety are smooth, dark green, 16-18 cm long, with tender skin and a distinct cucumber aroma, as well as a slightly sweet taste, making them especially attractive for salads and fresh consumption.

The Monsieur Olivier hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. Sowing seedlings is recommended in early May, and transplanting into the ground should occur at the end of May or beginning of June, when the plants have developed 2-3 true leaves. Direct sowing into greenhouses is also possible during the same period. The optimal soil temperature for seed germination is 25-30 °C. The recommended planting scheme is 40x40 cm, ensuring comfortable plant growth and good access to nutrients.
