Cucumber KROKHOTULYA

A reliable solution for early harvest

"Krokhotulya" from the Gavrish breeding firm is a meticulously developed parthenocarpic hybrid that has become a staple for both home gardeners and small-scale farms. The variety is known for its rapid maturity: the first fruits can be harvested just 40–45 days after germination. This makes it an effective tool for those looking to secure an early market or kitchen-garden supply.

Agricultural profile

The hybrid demonstrates excellent adaptability to various growing conditions. It performs equally well in both protected environments (greenhouses) and open fields. As a vegetative plant, it requires proper maintenance and timely pruning. A key advantage of Gavrish’s selection is its robust immune system, which minimizes the need for heavy chemical treatments. The hybrid shows high resistance to:

• Root rot and downy mildew.
• Olive spot and powdery mildew.
• Cladosporiosis, ascochytosis, and mycosphaerella spot.

Fruit characteristics

The appearance of "Krokhotulya" cucumbers sets them apart from traditional prickly varieties. These are smooth-skinned, dark green fruits, 7–9 cm in length. The lack of spines and the neat shape make them ideal for fresh salads and pickling. The high quality of the fruit, combined with consistent yields, confirms the reputation of the Gavrish breeding firm in the agricultural market. Choosing "Krokhotulya" is a commitment to time-tested stability and excellent flavor in every harvest.
