Description Victoria
Victoria cucumber is a late-maturing field hybrid, distinguished by high yield and disease resistance. The plant prefers sunny and sheltered locations, does not tolerate shady conditions, and requires moisture-retentive, fertile, and moist medium-textured soil. Cultivation is possible both in open ground and in greenhouses, with seed sowing recommended in late spring or early summer.

The fruits of the Victoria cucumber are cylindrical, measuring 8 to 15 cm in length and weighing about 130–140 g. They are covered with bright green skin with small bumps, which does not change color over time and retains visual appeal. The flesh is firm, juicy, and free of bitterness, making this variety suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and homemade gherkins.

Harvesting begins in July and continues until the end of August. Victoria cucumbers contain significant amounts of B vitamins, vitamin C, and minerals, contributing to their beneficial properties. Due to its qualities and low maintenance requirements, this variety is an excellent choice for gardeners aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality yield.
