Description Volga
Cucumber variety VOLGA is a parthenocarpic salad-type variety intended for cultivation under plastic covers in private households. The plant is indeterminate, weakly branched, with female flowering, and in each node, three or more female flowers form. Leaves are medium-sized, dark green, and the fruits are short, cylindrical, smooth, and dark green. The average fruit weight is about 125 grams, with excellent taste quality. The variety starts fruiting on day 41 after emergence of full seedlings, providing a marketable yield of up to 11.8 kg per square meter. VOLGA exhibits resistance to powdery mildew and tolerance to downy mildew, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions.
