Description GARN
Cucumber GARN is an early self-fertile hybrid of the "cornichon" type, developed by the Dutch company Enza Zaden. The vegetative period is 38-40 days, allowing for an early harvest. The plant is open-type, strong and compact, with short suckers, forming 3-5 aligned cylindrical fruits of 12-15 cm length at each node. The fruits have an attractive green color with a glossy surface and large-bumpy texture, without white stripes at the tip. Due to its small seed cavity and excellent taste qualities, the cucumbers are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to stressful growing conditions, enabling it to maintain fruit quality even in hot weather and under heavy loads. It has high resistance to brown spot disease, moderate resistance to cucumber mosaic virus, true powdery mildew, and cucumber vein yellowing virus. The fruits do not overgrow, ensuring consistent product quality. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in plastic and glass greenhouses, as well as in open ground, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions and cultivation methods.

Cucumber GARN is suitable for first and second cropping cycles, allowing efficient use of greenhouse areas and multiple harvests per season. High stress resistance and market quality make this hybrid appealing for both experienced gardeners and beginners, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield. The seeds of this variety are easy to use and suitable for cultivation on a dacha, in a greenhouse, or even on a balcony.
